The school’s founder, coming from a family of educators and having extensive experience as a music educator himself, recognized the importance of having passionate, qualified, and supportive teachers to guide students on their musical journeys.

Drawing from his experiences teaching at four different music schools, Sollohub had a clear vision of what elements were essential for a successful and thriving music education program.

Since its establishment, Sollohub School of Music has become a trusted name in music education, known for its exceptional faculty, comprehensive curriculum, and commitment to fostering a lifelong love of music in its students.

All of our teachers hold at least one music degree, with many possessing multiple degrees. On average, our instructors have 10 years of teaching experience, allowing them to effectively communicate musical concepts to students of all skill levels.

Additionally, they are seasoned performers with years of experience on stage, providing them with valuable insights into the practical aspects of musicianship.

We have two convenient locations in the Denver metro area:

Our downtown location, situated at 1660 Gilpin St, Denver, CO 80218, is ideal for those living or working in LoDo, Uptown, Hilltop, Park Hill, Cherry Creek, and Capitol Hill.

Our Broomfield location, located at 7000 W 120th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020, is perfect for those seeking guitar instruction, piano lessons, and voice teachers in the northwest Denver area, including Westminster, Broomfield, Arvada, Longmont, Northglenn, and Thornton. This location is easily accessible from US-36 for those coming from outside the northwest Denver area.

Both locations offer lessons Sunday through Friday, with afternoon, evening, and night openings available, as well as Sunday mornings. Specific times vary based on teacher availability. To set up your first lesson, please contact our main office by texting or calling us at (303) 667 7957.

At Sollohub School of Music, our standard rate for lessons is $36 per lesson.

We also provide a FREE introductory lesson for prospective students. This allows potential students to meet with an instructor, discuss their goals, and experience our teaching approach firsthand before committing to regular lessons.

Payment is due on the first lesson of each month, with a grace period of 14 days.

We accept payments on our website, through Venmo (Jeff-sollohub), PayPal ([email protected]), Zelle ([email protected]), or check (payable to Sollohub Music).

There are payment boxes in all the studios. You can also mail payments to Sollohub Music, 3291 E 105th Pl, Northglenn, CO 80233.

Yes, we offer a family/friend discount for multiple enrollments of 2 or more people ($31 per lesson/$124 per month for weekly half-hour lessons).

We also offer discounts on hour-long lessons ($62 per lesson/$248 per month for 4 one-hour lessons).

These discounts do not apply to biweekly or random lessons.

To cancel or reschedule a lesson, please give your teach or the school at least a 24 hours notice. To cancel or reschedule with the school, you may text or call (303) 667 7957.

We charge for no-shows and cancellations within 24 hours, except for student illness (please notify us by 10am if at all possible).

We ask that you cancel no more than once every 2 months to ensure teachers have a consistent and reliable income.

If you need to miss more than that, you will be asked to make up those cancellations or be charged for the excess cancellations.

To discontinue lessons, please provide your music teacher or the school a two weeks notice.

We do not offer refunds for unused lessons.
