Ani Gyulamiryan is an incredible talent, both as a teacher and a performer. As a performer, she is the pianist for both the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra and the Colorado Woodwind Ensemble. As a teacher, she has been been guiding students young and old for over 10 years, since 2008.
She started her musical studies at the age of 6, when she entered the Sayat-Nova Music School. As a young student studying in Armenia, she won recognition for outstanding performances and for her own compositions. Ani graduated with Bachelor of Music in piano performance from University of Denver. She was a recipient of Daniel L. Ritchie endowed full tuition scholarship for four years and additional talent scholarship. As an endowed student at University of Denver, she also worked as an instructor of piano at Colorado Music Quest, as an accompanist with the Denver Chorale, and was a laureate of the American Protégé competition in NY.
While studying for her Masters in piano performance at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Ani worked as a graduate teaching assistant and accompanied Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra, Fairbanks Youth Symphony, and various chamber groups.
