Daniel Steele is a gifted educator and musician who brings years of experience teaching and performing to the classroom. As an educator, Daniel has taught private and group lessons, theory & band coaching for over 20 years (since 2001), covering all styles, ages, and levels. As a professional musician and band leader, he has performed headlining shows with rock, blues and funk, jazz, & fusion bands for over 20 years as well.
Steele received his Bachelor of Music from Radford University in 2001. Other formal training includes classical guitar instruction under Dr. Robert Trent, an Internship at Copper Creek Records in Roanoke VA, an internship at Cue Recording Studios in Falls Church, VA not to mention the vast amount of information one gains from playing with 100’s of musician over a lifetime.
Before joining Sollohub Music, Steele was an instructor and band coach for Arts & Minds Music Academy, Contemporary Music Center, Twinbrooke Music, Alter Ego Music Studio, and Mars Music.
Daniel loves sharing his knowledge and experience with his students and helping them achieve and go beyond their musical goals, whatever they may be!
My son started taking piano lessons from Ashley and I was so impressed with her, I've been taking lessons too! My son is also going to start taking guitar lessons after the first of the year as well.
