Sometimes you come across an educator who you know was born to teach. Kristen Wynkoop is such a person, possessing all the best qualities of a teacher; an endless reservoir of patience, enthusiasm, knowledge, and professionalism. She has been on staff for over 10 years ( since 2011) and is a student favorite.

Kristen received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Thomas Edison University. She has performed with string trios and quartets, as a piano accompanist for FRCC and her church, was in the Flatirons Community Orchestra for 4 years under the direction of Dr. Arturo Gonzales, and was given the ‘Outstanding Academic Achievement in Music’ award by FRCC.

Outside of 10 years with Sollohub Music, she was an instructor at Intermezzo Academy of Music for 4 years as well as her own studio. She has experience teaching students of all ages from 4 to 80 as well as students with special needs such as autism, blindness and chronic pain.

My son started taking piano lessons from Ashley and I was so impressed with her, I've been taking lessons too! My son is also going to start taking guitar lessons after the first of the year as well. I also appreciate the prompt responses when I have questions and the affordable prices. I highly recommend Sollohub School of Music!

Sollohub Music has provided a fun, energetic environment for me to learn music. They have always been very professional and flexible, which is much appreciated with crazy work/school schedules. The instructors are very talented, devoted individuals with not only a passion for music, but a strong desire to share it with others!

My daughter has been studying with Jeff since before she was a teenager, and he has been an amazing influence on her. He is unfailingly enthusiastic, and has been very accommodating of a family's ever-changing schedule. I heartily recommend him to anyone who loves music and wants to learn.
