Sometimes I (Jeff Sollohub) come across an educator who I know was born to teach. Kristen Wynkoop is such a person, possessing all the best qualities of a teacher; an endless reservoir of patience, enthusiasm, knowledge, and professionalism.
Kristen received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Thomas Edison University. She has performed with string trios and quartets, as a piano accompanist for FRCC and her church, was in the first violin section in the Flatirons Community Orchestra for 4 years under the direction of Dr. Arturo Gonzales, and was given the ‘Outstanding Academic Achievement in Music’ award by FRCC.
Outside of Sollohub Music, she was an instructor at Intermezzo Academy of Music for 4 years as well as her own studio. She has experience teaching students of all ages from 4 to 80 as well as students with special needs such as autism, blindness and chronic pain.
